The Weavers
A micro pub in Kidderminster, very close to the railway station. Now owned by the Pig Iron Brewery.
The Weavers is up the hill towards the station and if you blink you will miss it as it seems only a small shop doorway wide. Though it does open out once you get inside.
A single room has everything in it, all seating and the dark wood fronted bar with overhang. There are six ales to choose from plus three ciders on draught.
Seating is at dark wood tables and chairs, plus there is a leather effect sofa and chairs towards the rear. Carpet is traditional hard wearing pile - well this is Kidderminster where carpets were/are made. This is complimented by the purple flock-style wallpaper.
Food is served here, but only rolls which are keenly priced.
Note the table top made from pennies.
The toilets are bijou but functional.
