The Dog and Gun  

Imposing black and white building in Keswick, that has an interior reminiscent of the 1960's.

The bar has low ceiling beams and the floor is in parts slate, wood and carpet. On the walls you will find a collection of photographs of the surrounding mountains plus some brass and brewery artifacts. A real fire warms you wherever you go.

They serve up to six real ales, many from local breweries.

Food is served here most days (check during winter) 12-9pm, but they do not serve chips. Check out the Hungarian Goulash. Also check out the menu for dogs which are welcome here.

Children welcome if eating before 9pm.
