Bear and Ragged Staff  

A Greene King food-led pub.

They have at least three guest ales real ales on at any one time, plus Ruddles and GK IPA.

On a Saturday night it is busy to the gills and the low ceiling makes it hot!

The bar area has three distinct areas, one a games area full of pinball, fruit and video machines, another smaller area where it's difficult to stand, let alone move and the area by the windows where you can sit around a table in a group - though people rarely do here.

There are no dress restrictions, though a bouncer stands on the door at night and is rather too polite to be a bouncer.

There is no accommodation.
