The Globe Inn  

This is a small and homely pub with a cosy, warming, real fire when cold. Friendly and capable staff create a great atmosphere and make you very welcome.

They serve up to two real ales at a time, which change frequently. Mostly the ales are from local breweries.

Food is served here Mondays to Fridays from 5-8.30pm, Saturdays 12-8.30pm, and Sundays 12-6pm. All the food is locally sourced where possible and cooked from fresh ingredients. The choices are homely and tasty with good sized portions. Choices change frequently, but popular dishes are staples. There are two sizes of Sunday roast for bigger or smaller appetites.

They have board games you can play and there is also a quiz machine. Other entertainment is a sport TV, a jukebox, pool table and dart board upstairs in the games room

A Sunday quiz has prizes.

There is a covered outside smoking area.
