Lord Nelson  

An excellent back street free house boozer that serves an excellent range of real ales at any one time. Up to 12 of the ales are served on gravity dispense so every day is a beer festival day. cider is only served in the summer though

There is plenty of room to sit down as there are two large bars plus another smaller oom known as the 'quiet' room. The pub of course has a Nelson theme with its memorabilia around the walls. Not sure about Nelson, but there is also a good collection of lighters.

Unfortunately no food is served here, or at the other two good pubs in the town - The New Entertainer and the Dock Tavern.

The Lord Nelson is well worth a stop if in the area.
