The Six Bells
The Six Bells has been a village pub for over 600 years. It was originally an inn and coach house. For many years now it has been run by the White family.
There is a quiz on Thursday nights, jazz on Wednesday.
Food is served here and is home cooked from local produce. A specialty if game. Food is served here Mon 11.30-2pm, Tuesday to Saturday 11.30-2pm and 6-9pm, Sunday 11.30-3pm.
The pub has open fires and wide selection of ales, up to six. There are two bars, the public bar (Legion bar) has a wood burning fire for those cold winter days and a dart board for entertainment. The lounge bar has an open wood fire supplied with logs from the local farms and a number of pews and a snug area.
All food can be eaten in the bars and blackboards let you know the specials each day.
For the summer there is a beer garden.
Free wifi.
