Bentley Brook Inn

The Bentley Brook Inn and Restaurant is ideally situated in the Southern part of the Peak District National Park. So well located is the Inn that it is the ideal base from which to explore the area by car, by cycle or perhaps best of all, on foot.

The Bentley Brook Inn is an established (Visit Britain) 3 star rated Country Inn with 11 comfortable en-suite rooms - pets are also welcome by prior arrangement. With an award winning restaurant, traditional beers and good quality bar food the Bentley Brook Inn provides affordable accommodation and is a great base for a holiday or short break in the Peak District.

The brewery that was just next door is moving, so the beers might not be available here soon. It was unfortunate that only two were on for this trip. Since the takeover, the emphasis appears to be on food and not ale, which is a pity as they used to have regular beer festivals in the summer.

Ashbourne is just two miles South of the Inn. It is mainly Georgian but there are several important Elizabethan and Jacobean buildings still in use. Many traditional style shops remain, including antique shops. There is a market every Thursday and Saturday.
