The Red Lion  

This is a free House serving good cask beers like Greene King IPA, Bass, and Old Speckled Hen. Not a true freehouse, but the quality of the beers makes up for it.

A host of historic houses and landmarks are easily accessible from the pub. Due in part to it being close to all major motorways.

The decor is in traditional style. It is really the restaurant which is this pub.

Food is served 12-2pm and 7-9pm. On average the prices are quite expensive - more a gastro pub. The quality is good though.

For the summer you can sit out in the beer garden, and play pub games such as Petanque.

There is accommodation here with 6 bedrooms, all en suite. It has 1 Stars for quality.

It opens Mon-Sat 11-3pm & 6.30-11pm; Sun 12-3pm & 7-10.30pm
