Taken over in 2006 by a chef, the Crown Inn has plenty of charm. It's thatched, not far from Elton Hall and from Peterborough. Beer tends to be from the larger brewers but is still good. Food is served here 12-2.30 and 6.30-9pm Tuesday to Saturday and 12-3 on Sunday. The bar is open all day Sundays.
