The Dog and Gun  

This is a Marston's pub of historic interest for its interior.

From the outside it is mock Tudor, built in 1932.

They serve up to six ales form the Marston's stable.

Food is served here in varying degrees. So for instance, on Monday and Tuesday it is rolls only. But on Wednesday through Saturday they have more substantial bar snacks and meals. Sunday is roast day.

Children are welcome.

Dogs are also welcome here.

There is a beer garden for summer and a real fire for winter. Parking is available.

Traditional pub games here of darts, pool, dominoes.

They show sports TV here.

There is a quiz every 2nd Sunday night.
