The White Lion  

The White Lion has a thing about animals on its logos and sign, reminiscent of a zoo.

It was newly refurbished in 2012 and is in Disley village on the edge of The Peak District.

They serve eight ales from a wide selection.

Food is served here and is traditional home-cooked. It is available all week from 12-9pm (8pm Sunday).

There is a quiz every Thursday and live music every last Saturday of the month.

Dogs are welcome if well behaved.
