Red Lion

A small pub set in a beautiful market town. The pub has plenty of character with low oak beamed ceilings and a huge fireplace for winter nights and a couple of picnic tables outside for summer.

The layout of the Red Lion is unusual as there are many distinct areas served by a single bar. Real ales on here at time of visit were Coniston Bluebird and Jennings Snecklifter plus guest.

Access for the disabled is good and the pub is close to the railway station. A 40 seat function room is also available. Food is only served in the evenings and is home cooked and tasty.

There is a beer garden/patio of sorts at the front.
