Clachan Inn

Set in the picturesque village of St John's Town of Dalry on the A713, The Clachan Inn has a reputation for food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Food is served here in the Bothy - looks like something from a Norwegian saga. The menu is varied with daily specials. The pub uses local produce as much as possible and includes Pheasant and Venison. Booking is advised.

The bar serves two real ales and of course whiskies.

The pub has lots of wood and hunting, shooting and fishing trophies on the walls. It also has real fires to keep you warm in winter.

Seating is at dark wood tables and chairs. There is a rather lovely full bar with overhang and stools - note some padded bench seating around the walls.
