Royal Standard  

Friendly, traditional one-bar pub situated under the Croydon flyover.

It has been extended and refurbished by Fullers, who own it, without loss of character, though the garden still remains across the road.

Etched glass in its windows still survives too, as does its small serving hatch and the misericords.

The Royal serves the full range of Fuller's beers.

The royal also serves food both lunch and evenings and comes from the standard menu in the pub chain.

Handy for a night out as its close to the tube (Church St), the tram (George St) and rail (East/West).
