The Old Bank

Just up the road from Liverpool is Crosby, where The Old Bank public house was originally as the name suggests the Nat West Bank. It is one of the oldest established buildings on South Road.

Over the years, The Old Bank has gained a reputation as being South Road’s major music venue, with regular live bands and musicians performing from Thursday to Sunday. The pub also shows live football and other major sporting events.

Inside it is a pleasant mixture of old and new style. with beams and pictures and traditional pud furniture (though the function room is more modern).

The Old Bank is close to the rail station and serves up to three ales from the local micro-breweries of Liverpool. They also have regular special offers on drinks.

There is a beer garden here for families, it is also used by both smokers and non-smokers.

A function room is available, fully furnished with its own bar and entrance away from the other clientele. They can also cater for you.

Other interesting activities are a book swap club and traditional pub games.

There is free wi-fi here, but no food.
