Twisted Barrel Taphouse  

The Tap House is where you can get all of the core ales from Twisted Barrel. Due to it being an operating brewery from Monday to Friday, the Tap House is only open in the evenings and fully open at the weekend. You are actually sitting in the brewery.

The bar seems makeshift to the back of the venue, but serves the purpose well. A large screen behind it lets you know which of their ales are on at the time. There is a small fridge for 'other' bottled ales. You can buy to takeaway here too.

Seating is at long benches in what feels like an industrial unit, but it adds to the ambiance. You do feel like you are in a warehouse, but then you are.

The Taphouse is part of the Fargo Village development of trendy places to eat and buy bohemian trinkets. It is a way out of town, by the student quarter, but worth seeking out for the more unusual beers they serve here and infrequently in the wider trade.

Children and pets welcome, the former until 7pm. Sports TV here and free Wi-Fi.
