Metropolis  

This bar used to be called Drapers and before that, Browns cafe bar. At present is is run for/by unemployed youth as a training establishment.

It is in the student quarter and has an upstairs art exhibition area close to the cathedrals and next door to the Herbert Art Gallery.

Essentially this is a food establishment but it does have a couple of beers on, at least one is keykeg. Drinkers have a small area of high stools to one side.

The food is traditional pub food, burgers, pizza, etc., but they do split their menus into meat, vegetarian and vegan choices. Food is served all day until 11pm. All the meals are prepared in house using fresh ingredients.

for the summer there is outside seating

Disabled access is possible. Children are welcome here.

Well behaved dogs welcome too.
