Gatehouse Tavern
This pub is in the city centre and is a welcome site from shopping all day. The pub has been rebuilt from the long disused gatehouse that was part of the old wall surrounding Leigh Mills. Like the Nursery Tavern, it is rugby orientated.
Food is served here both lunch (11-2 Mon-Sat) and early weekday evenings (6-9.30) - not Saturday evening or Sunday all day. Food is traditional but wholesome.
As part of the beer list there can be up to two guest ales from Church End.
For the summer there is a good beer garden.
No longer has any Belgian bottled beer.
Worth the stop if in Coventry.
