Kings Head

The easiest way to get to this pub is via the B4228 which is a 1/4 mile from A4136. A small, friendly pub is this, used by locals and visitors in mainly in the summer. It has a good size restaurant with a real log fire. And for those who want to eat, there is a no smoking area in bar. The guest ales on at the time were Bass, Wye Valley Summer Ale and Hobsons Bitter. Tends not to have guests on in the winter. Food is served 12-2 and 7-9.30pm and is good value for money bar food, though they also do restaurant meals. Children are welcome according to certificate hours. For the summer there is a beer garden. No accommodation here (see below). Opening Times- Monday to Saturday 12 to 3, 7 to 11. Sunday 12 to 3, 7 to 10.30. Closed Tuesday nights October to May.
