The Tithe Barn  

Despite being over 125 years old, the Tithe Barn is one of the newer pubs in Cockermouth, having had the license transferred to it from the earlier closed Lamb Inn, which was located in nearby Challoner Street.

The Tithe Barn is a haven for walkers, shoppers and all those looking for delicious home cooked food served in a warm welcoming atmosphere.

The Tithe Barn serves a range of Jennings beers.

Food is served here. There are three distinct dining areas, the main bar with its traditional pub feel, the bar dining area bistro and the main dining room with its restaurant atmosphere. Ingredients are sourced locally where possible. Food is served Tuesday to Thursday 6-9pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12-2pm, 6-9pm.

Inside the Barn has a real hotel bar feel to it with stools at the bar.
