 The Coalbrookdale Inn

The Grade II listed Coalbrookdale Inn is situated directly opposite to the Grove Inn and like the Grove offers stylish accommodation with iron bedsteads and sumptuous bathrooms. The good news is you don't need to pay high prices for it.
The pub is off the main drag through Ironbridge, but close enough to walk to. If you have an Ironbridge Museum Pass, you will definitely see it as it's opposite the Museum of Iron and the historic Darby Furnace.

The Coalbrookdale Inn has been serving real ale to the ironworkers of Coalbrookdale since the 1830s and and now greets locals and visitors alike. The forte of this lively pub is its extensive choice of real ales served from handpumps.

Food is served here lunch times 12-2pm and 6-9pm six days a week - no food Sunday evening. The fairly extensive menu has some interesting options and there is a good selection for vegetarians. All food is cooked to order and was well presented in the restaurant.

									 Comments

Car parking in Ironbridge is not easy at the height of tourist season. While limited space at the pub, it is impossible to street park. Plenty of car parks in the town itself.
