Acquired recently by King and Barnes to sell their ales. The pub is located centrally and is spacious and comfortable after its refurbishment. King and Barnes bought out this pub to get a foothold in the town and it's a lively place with barbecues in the summer in the garden. Still feeling like a locals pub with a real fire, it does welcome the traveller too.

All ales on at the time were King and Barnes, but it does do their seasonal range as
well. Food is available lunch and evenings like toasties and Sunday roast - but must be pre-booked by the previous evening. The Coach and Horses has pool and cricket teams based here. Background music is poor - easy listening dross in the main, some sixties classics now and again. Monday and Sunday nights are quiz nights. Not far from the station for those coming that way. Well worth a visit. Accommodation here
