The Anchor  

Originally known as Corn-sale, this pub serves up to five real ales. It also serves a real cider.

No food is served here but they do locally renown filled cobs.

The pub has two rooms and has been in the same family since 1927. There is a friendly atmosphere here. Can get busy at times.

Dogs welcome.

For the summer there is a beer 'garden'.

Canal close by.
