Just off the A144 Ipswich to Cambridge road, central Bury exit and not far from the railway station. Quite a new pub and brewery serving homemade food in a relaxed atmosphere. You can see the real ales being brewed from the bar and they also have guest ales on - cant be bad. Beer prices are good, especially for the house brews. Continental lagers and wheat beers available. Food is also served here Tue-Fri 12-2,6.30-9.30; Sat 12-2.30, 6.30-9.30; Sunday 12-2. The lunchtime menu has both snacks and main meals like Thai chicken curry and rice or Gammon steak and chips. The Evening menu is more formal and wide ranging, including a vegetarian option. It gets busy here so book a table if eating. The bar does not have a children?s licence, so there are no under fourteens allowed. There is accommodation here, not seen on this occasion.
