The Bridge Inn
A very small pub with as much seating as possible - four tables and some stools at the bar. It doesn't get busy after work, so worth a friendly/relaxing visit. Food is served only at lunchtimes (Tuesday to Friday) and does include a vegetarian choice. The menu choice is limited, but wholesome and only has 'snacks' on it. On Sundays from about 5pm complimentary cheese and biscuits are served.
The walls have film posters on them and the seating is at fixed wall seating and stools. Piped music plays constantly, but you can ignore it if you talk to others.
They serve up to six ales, and ten craft lines, together with Belgian bottled beers.
During spring & summer months the pub opens on Mondays. Outside tables increase capacity during good weather and also serve as a smoking area.
Close to the railway station if you are pressed for time and close to St Phillips Bridge that crosses the floating harbour.
Children and dog friendly.
