The White Horse Inn

The White Horse Inn has been situated on this site for more than 300 years. A handsome stone building with a relaxing garden and patio area where you can sit in fine weather and watch the horses go by, listen to the birds singing or enjoy a civilised game of Petanque (French Boules) on our very own Petanque pitch.

Bradford on Tone is an attractive village roughly half way between Taunton and Wellington and about five minutes drive from Junction 26 of the M5 in Somerset. It is perched on a ridge above the River Tone which is crossed by a 15th century bridge. The village, complete with post office and shop, St Giles Church and thatched cottages retains much of its rural character.
We have a 65 seater A la Carte Restaurant and are known for producing good home cooked food. Seasonal ingredients and local suppliers are used wherever possible. All our meals are freshly prepared to order. Food is served 12-2 and 6.30-9pm and 12-3 and 7-9pm on Sundays.

The outbuildings have the Post Office and Shop in them, so the pub is really part of the village. Warm fires in both bars allows you to relax in winter and even play a game of pool if you wish. There is also a skittle alley and function room. Children and dogs are welcome here.
