Another of those ubiquitous Wetherspoon pubs. Apart from all looking the same they offer some jolly decent beer, which is a lot more than can be said for some other pub chains! Beers on at the time were Fullers ESB and Archers Best, two quality ales. The pub is situated right next door to Debenhams and across from the winter gardens. There is plenty of shopping to be had and this place is a decent respite for those tired feet. As for accommodation, this IS Bournemouth after all and there are literally thousand of B&B to choose from, though book early if you intend to go in the summer as it can get fully booked by March!! This Pub is a favourite of mine in the area. I find the Landlord and family very friendly. A good choice for a family day out. I would rate it 10 out of 10 if it was in a poll. (Sam Penfold, 29/4/03)
