The Bear Inn

The Bear Inn, Bisley offers everything you would expect from a Cotswold country inn: award winning cask ales, home-made food, and accommodation in a building of great historical interest.

There is a pleasant, safe garden that is popular with families and walkers during warmer weather. Barbecues are also held during summer evenings.

Food is served lunchtimes 12-2, evenings 6-9 and all day for Sunday lunch. Food is not served on Sunday evenings. Food is home prepared and cooked to order, making use of as much local produce and as many local suppliers as possible. The emphasis is on fresh, country cooking, reflected in the standard menu, but the specials boards are constantly changing to take advantage of in-season produce. Vegetarian options are always available and childrens' portions of most items can be served.

The fire is lit in the ancient hearth in the autumn, and burns non-stop until the warmer weather arrives again in the spring. The pub is divided into two distinct areas, both for eating and drinking, as well as the cosy family room, which also doubles as function room seating 25
