The Victoria  

The Victoria is a theatre pub dating back to the end of the c19th, has loads of character and legend has it also it’s own ghost.

Recently refurbished it’s appearance has been upgraded but the character remains. It's very cosy in here.

It serves up to four ales, two fixed two guests.

Food is served here and there is a vegetarian choice. Food is reasonably priced too. Sunday is roast day.

There is plenty of entertainment of one sort or another - Tuesdays is Sound & Vision pub quiz, Thursday is music night, Friday/Saturday is DJ night through to 2am. All events downstairs at the Victoria are free.

The Vic can also be hired out.
