Head of Steam

Part of Camerons' Head of Steam chain, it has all the trappings of the others.

The large square centre bar is covered with taps and handpumps, so you need to be 'moving' to attract the staff. They serve up to six real ales on draught and around six more on keg, plus a few continental beers. Prices are not cheap, even for city centre Birmingham.

The pub is spacious inside, but does have stairs to enter - a lift for wheelchair users is available. There is also a mezzanine level. All are industrial in fixtures and fittings. Seating is dotted around, some for groups, some for couples. There are some dark corners as well, so let your eyes adjust for the rear seating.

Food is served here (lunch and evenings), similar to the rest of the chain. Menus are on every table.

Dogs are welcome here. Sports TV can be watched here.
