Horse & Plough

The Horse & Plough in Bingham is a traditional local public house and restaurant offering a range of top quality real ales from around the country. They provide customers with an unrivalled quality in beer and food, all served by their friendly and efficient staff. The Horse and Plough is only pub in Bingham to be listed in the Camra Good Beer Guide and they were awarded the title Freehouse Pub Of The Year in 2003. 6 ales are always available including the two regulars Bombardier and Deuchars IPA. Home cooked food is served here 12-2pm Monday - Friday and Tuesday - Thursday 6-9.30pm, Sunday lunch is 12-2.45pm. The Grill Room Restaurant is located upstairs at the Horse and Plough and offers a relaxed atmosphere combined with high quality food and service. A major talking point in the restaurant are the walls which are beautifully decorated with a hand painted mural by Nottingham artist Jessica Beard depicting local scenes during the Civil War. Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Nights are "Midweek Steak Nights", where you can choose from a succulent selection of chargrilled steaks served with all the trimmings at prices starting from just ?6.95! You can also hire out a room for up to 45 people for weddings, etc. No accommodation here.
