The Olde White Rose

Situated in what used to be a real ale desert, this pub has put a reason back into going to Bilston for a night out. Boasting at least ten (10) real ales on at any one time - including Monday to Wednesday, they are all kept in good quality and if you bring your CAMRA card you get 10p a pint off.

A pretty innocuous looking pub just off the Black Country Route roundabout before Morrisons in a difficult place to park (though try the car park round the corner).

The Rose has a serene atmosphere that is restful and not too busy. There is plenty of seating - wooden tables and chairs - down its considerable length which gives it an airy feeling (though can get smoky). The dark wooden bar is next to the door and is long with plenty of hand pumps to choose from.

There is plenty of food on offer - though not a great deal for veggies. Most is traditional (chicken, beef, fish) with a daily changing specials blackboard. Prices are reasonable too.

Access for the disabled is possible as the Rose is all on one level.

The former stables are beer garden.

Bilston bus station is three minutes away and the Metro light railway is round the corner.
