The Hop Pole  

A gastro-pub that focuses on food with prices to match (see website).

The pub does serve two regular ales from Marstons.

The pub has a single long U-shaped room with a dining area at one end - note the kitchen range. The wooden bar and drinking area is also long.

Food is served here Monday to Saturday 12 to 2.30pm and 6 to 9.30pm, on Sunday it is served 12 to 5pm. There are special food events.

Regular music folk/blues here on Wednesdays and Fridays.

A area to play pool is available.

For the summer there is a beer garden. Car parking available.
