The Blue Bell
This is a free house in Blemesthorpe, just outside Stamford. They are three time Rutland CAMRA winners. The pub is on a hill and looks like a cottage. Inside it is rural and traditional and welcoming with beams and stone walls.
They serve up to six ales at any one time plus a real cider.
Food is served here Tuesday to Saturday at both lunchtimes and evenings. Booking is advisable as they are often busy.
Beer garden for the summer.
Dogs are welcome on a lead but only in the bar area.
