The Six Bells

The Six Bells is a country pub, restaurant and inn, located west of Reading, close to the A4 and M4. It has an AA four star rating.

The inside is low ceilings and leather sofas by the fireplace. A mixture of tables and chairs makes up the rest. Decor is 'front room' with plants, pictures and the like. There are backed high stools at the brick bar. The other bar is more country kitchen with a wooden bar. Note the keyrings on the beam.

Food is served here and as you would expect it is gastro in nature. There are speciality nights - Lobster Week, Pie & Pudding Club. Food is available here Monday to Friday 12-2 (not Monday) 7-9pm, Saturday/Sunday 12-2.30pm, 7-9pm (6.30-8pm Sunday).
