The Royal Oak

The Royal Oak is a newly refurbished pub that adds to the beer scene in Bath - but at a distance. The pub is on the outer edges of the city and necessitates a bus ride or the train to Oldfield Park which is close by.

The pub is not over burdened with bits and bobs inside and so it clean and bare with painted walls and dark tables and chairs. The beers vary but there are discounts for CAMRA members. There are some books in the corner and you can have a sample of all the beers if you want. The only food they do at present is Sunday roasts, but more food should be coming soon.
There is often live music here - though not of the youth kind, more like folk, etc.
