Sam Wellers  

Another good pub in Bath, the city is full of them, good job it has two universities. In the centre in the main shopping area, this pub is OK, again, small inside, but has a couple of good beers on. Food is served here, but can take a while on occasion so be patient. Disabled access is possible here.

Ever changing real ales perfectly served, from local breweries and your english favourites. All tasted superb, very well kept. Traditional pub with a fresh twist. Gorgeous black and white photos hanging on the wall showing the elegance of bath, slight dickensian theme but only resricted to some very funny Dickens/Sam Wellers quotes from the pickwick papers hanging as manuscripts on the wall. The quality and quantity of the food was superb, wide range of traditional english fayre and vegetarian options at very affordable prices, eg Homemade steak and ale pie using all local produce ?5.95. Food times: 8am-9pm (21/5/04)
