The Mardale Inn  

The 18th century pub offers food and ales, with 40 different bottled beers from around the world. There is a real fire for winter, and four star accommodation.

There are several rooms all in a contemporary décor with country tables and chairs on flagstones. The walls have prints of old Cumbria and there are visible wood beams on the ceiling. The real fire keeps you warm in winter.

Food is served all day. A vegetarian choice is available.

Dogs are permitted. Walkers are welcomed.
