The Black Horse  

A pub off the Aylestone road near the shops. Not as easy to get to as you would think, but worth seeking out for its ale and large beer garden.

Actually down a narrow lane, which can get busy with the cars parked on the road from the houses around it.

There is a non-smoking area behind the bar and a skittle alley and function room you can hire. They are trying to put on some beer festivals - check the website for details.
