The Hat and Beaver  

Friendly local opposite the free car park on the edge of town.

Inside it still has the traditional public bar at the front and a more comfortable lounge bar at the rear. There is also access to the beer garden at the rear down a long corridor at the side of the building. There are steps inside as the public bar is on a different, lower, level.

They serve a single guest ale, though they also serve Bass. Old rosie cider on draught as well.

They have a happy hour 6-8pm Monday to Friday.

No food served here but they don't mind if you bring your own.

Big screen sporting events.
