The Red Lion  

A more food and hotel focused pub in Atherstone, though it does serve a changing guest ale - Church End.

The inside is set out in more a country pub style with panelled walls and a profusion of comfy chairs everywhere, including in the 'library' where there are sofas and books you can read/buy. There is a long conservatory here as well where you sit and take in the sunshine, though you could sit outside, but the car park and road at the rear stops any real ambiance.

Food is served here at lunchtime and evenings and is traditional on the 'heavy' meal side, though there are snacks at lunchtime. There is also an Italian restaurant attached to the pub.

There is accommodation here, though not seen on this visit.

There are two rooms that can be booked for weddings or events and these are manor house in their decor, one even has its own bar.
