The Crown  

This is a traditional coaching inn in Amersham, a market town in the Chiltern countryside. The Crown has inglenook fires, crooked floors, and a cobbled courtyard.

They only really serve one ale s this is a gastro pub, not a drinking one.

Eating is central to the Inn, with locally sourced ingredients. The menu changes daily and they even bake bread on site. The all day menu is served from 7 in the morning to 10 at night. If you want to sit in the restaurant it serves food from noon to 3pm, and 6-10pm.

Only an hour from central London, at the end of the Metropolitan tube line, 40 minutes drive from Heathrow and wifi throughout.
