Allanton Inn  

A relaxed, welcoming and tranquil country coaching inn dating from the eighteenth century.

The Inn, which is decorated with antique furniture and has open log fires, has secluded gardens and is set amidst open borders countryside. The rivers Blackadder and Whiteadder are a few minutes walk from our front door both flowing into the Tweed.

Food is served here Wednesday to Saturday evenings 6-8pm. They are also open for lunch Saturday and Sunday only. Meals are available seven days for residents.

There are two charming restaurants and a tearoom producing homemade, honest, wholesome food from locally produced vegetables, fish and meats on a daily changing menu.

The cosy bar serves a selection of real ales. It has a real fire in the dining room.
