The pub overlooks the marina, locks and water of the Trent. A
very pleasant place to spend a lazy summer afternoon. Often holding beer
festivals, usually in April over the Easter weekend. No accommodation here but
there is a caravan park next door and so it can get rather busy during the
season. Food is served here and is great value and the food is well cooked and
sometimes imaginative. Beers on at the time were: Marston's Pedigree, Bitter and
four other guest ales. This is not a Marston's pub they tell me. They also have
live music here in the summer and on special events.
