A cute village pub that dates from the
1890's. Naturally there is a friendly atmosphere that comes from such a small place. This
is an Elgoods pub and naturally serves their beers. However, they are good beers and where
better to sample them than here. Food is also served lunch and evenings and their are
daily specials from £6 for two courses. Sunday lunch is served 12-2pm and costs about
£7 for the works. Opening hours are: 11-11pm Mon-Sat and 12-10.30pm Sunday.

girlfriends relatives. I can highly recommend! Sunday lunch was more than
ample and the chips were brilliantly cooked (always important!). They were
out of Black Dog but i can recommend the Cambridge, very malty ale and at a
reasonable price. Very friendly bar staff also. Look forward to visiting again next year! (Steve - 28/10/04) |
