The Lighthouse Inn (Coast Road, B1159 ½ mile south of the village, NR12 0PE) (01692) 650371. An isolated pub, hence the name, near the coast of north Norfolk, it has a large bar which is open and serves food all day Saturday and Sunday, but is open 11-3 and 6-11 during the week. A good bonus for CAMRA members is that there is a 10% discount on food and drink if you show your card. Beers on at the time were: Adnams Bitter, with other guests from the Tapster's Choice range (up to four real ales at any one time). There is a log stove fire to keep you warm in winter and the decor has a nautical theme - naturally. Food is good and home made at a reasonable price. A beer garden completes this relaxing pub with some good views. No accommodation here, but camping is available.
