Good food and good beer here at the Ardneil Hotel. Can get busy due to it being in Troon and the golf nearby, but it is still worth a visit. The station is close by, like right beside it, so public transport is good. The hotel has two restaurants and a cocktail bar. The main bar has a lower level pool/darts area. For the summer there is a beer garden and winter a pub quiz.
