This is another real free house in London. There are two constantly changing guest ales here plus a selection of bottled Belgian/German beers - hence they stage a German beer festival here in October. They serve Paulaner Weisse Bier on draught and a selection of fruit wines - something you don't see much of in London. Food is served only at lunchtimes - 12-2.30pm and till 3pm on Sunday. The selection tends to be traditional sandwiches and hot food. This corner pub does not have a beer garden, but it is near Stockwell tube.
