Aa its name suggests this pub is right next door to a cemetery. A Victorian pub created to serve the thirsty workers from the cemetery when health problems caused a massive increase in deaths in the area. This is a basic boozer, no food is served here and there is no accommodation. A corner pub is is grim from the outside, but that was the Victorians for you. Once inside however, you will be surprised by the vivid tiles and windows that still retain their staining. Three rooms all offer different drinking experiences. The bar area is a long affair with stools at it and mirrors abound. A more sedate seating area with settles and carpet is available with a real fire. There is also the more gravediggers bar with bare floor and simple bench seating and a dart board. By the way, don't forget to look for the mosaic by the front door.
