On Saturday 7th December my wife and I visited the Keelman, recommended by a local hotel we were staying at.
"On spec" we called to try and get an evening meal and although you were fully booked you managed to squeeze us in on "early doors".
The food, Steak and Ale Pie, was superb. The staff young or experienced were helpful, attentive and made us feel welcome in spite of their work load. They didn't rush or rush us and gave us every opportunity to enjoy our meal.
Thank you for your hospitality, quality and service. Our accommodation made a grave mistake in recommending you as we shall try to book a room at the Keelman when next in the area.
As for the beer - if I had not been driving I would certainly have had more than one, well brewed . well kept and nicely served.
